Currently, EPFC uses these three vehicles to serve approximately 7,500 people in our service area.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 2023! After years of training and a tremendous amount of planning, Engine 3 has been converted into 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗱 𝟯! This conversion will allow for enhanced rescue capabilities in the center of Cheltenham Township.
Believe it or not though, Squad 3 has just a few years left before hitting the 20 year mark – so on that note, we are excited to announce that the EPFC Board of Directors have signed a contract with Glick Fire Equipment Company, Inc. for the purchase of a new Pierce engine. This engine will be an add-on to our existing fleet, and upon its delivery in 2026 will be a primary response truck.
These two big achievements will allow us to provide better overall fire protection to the residents of Cheltenham Township.
The Elkins Park Fire Company would like to thank the Cheltenham Township Commissioners for their continued support, without which these two milestones would not be possible.

PIERCE ENFORCER CUSTOM PUMPER

COMING 2026!  In January 2023, our Board of Directors made an order with Glick Fire Equipment Company for the purchase of this new piece of equipment, which will become a primary response truck when it’s arrived.  The new engine will feature a 450hp Cummins engine, 70″ Enforcer cab, 500 gallon water tank, Waterous 2000 gpm pump, Whelan warning lights, and HiViz LED lighting.
We have a couple years to go and need your help to finance it!
