The Elkins Park Fire Company is a 100% volunteer organization providing fire and rescue services for the communities of Melrose Park and Elkins Park, plus many other communities since 1892.
Elkins Park Fire Company, Station #3, is one of four volunteer fire company districts within Cheltenham Township in Montgomery County, PA.
Our district is connected to Philadelphia on the southern edge of Cheltenham Township and Abington Township on the northern edge. Our primary response district travels east to New Second Street, and to the west, to Old York Road from Cheltenham Avenue up to Church Road, and to Washington Lane from Church Road up to Township Line Road.

Through mutual aid agreements, we also respond to neighboring fire districts such as the Cheltenham Hook and Ladder, LaMott, and Glenside Fire Companies in Cheltenham, as well as to districts in Abington, Upper Dublin, Springfield, and Rockledge.
